Who deserves to win at the 2016 Emmy Awards? Much to the annoyance of avid television fans, their answers might not always be in line with those of the members of the Television Academy, the group that selects Emmy winners. That said, the 2016 nominations have brought some surprises, like best supporting actor/actress nominations for several of the Game of Thrones cast. There were also some expected nominations, like Julia Louis-Dreyfus for her role in Veep and Modern Family’s nom for best comedy.
While you and your friends may really admire the lengths to which an actor went to embody a character, and while everyone on social media agrees with you when you say “It’s her year this year," just because the masses believe a show or person should win doesn’t necessarily mean they will.
Nevertheless, it’s still fun to play the game, so get into your favorite evening wear, break out the champagne, and tell us who or what should win at the 2016 Emmys.
