Adam Levine Claims That 'There Are No Bands Anymore' And Music Fans Can't Stop Roasting Him
Vote up the best reactions to the rocker.
In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Maroon Five's frontman Adam Levine made a statement about the status of rock music today. During the interview, the former host of The Voice stated:
"When the first Maroon 5 album came out there were still other bands. I feel like there aren’t any bands anymore, you know? That’s the thing that makes me kind of sad ... I feel like they’re a dying breed."
Needless to say, there was outrage. Music fans and musicians came out in droves on social media to let the Maroon Five singer - which when last checked, was still considered a band - know that, yes, there are bands and they are just as important today. Here are a few of the more feisty reactions.
