Over six movies, the Alien franchise has provided us with plenty of thrills and heart-stopping moments (we're pretending those Alien vs. Predator movies aren't canon). It's easy to miss the tons of easter eggs and details when you're being distracted by Ripley's heroics or David's evolutionary war shenanigans. In Aliens (1986), Ripley asks Bishop how much time they have left. Bishop replies with plenty, 26 minutes. There’s exactly 26 minutes from this moment until the credits roll at the end of the movie.
