Founded in 1997 by Kpop superstar Park Jin-young, JYP Entertainment is considered one of the "Big 3" agencies in the Korean music industry, largely due to the success of boy group 2PM and girl group Wonder Girls. Since then, JYP formed several other popular Kpop groups, including Twice, Got7, 2AM, and their 2019 new girl group ITZY.
