Tyler Perry has been making Madea movies for well over a decade. The Diary of a Mad Black Woman came out in 2005 and served as Madea's introduction to the world. She has since become a beloved character that is known for being tough and ornery with a vindictive nature. Nobody messes with Madea and gets away with it. She's even taken over a few holidays with two Halloween movies (Boo! A Madea Halloween and Boo 2! A Madea Halloween) and A Madea Christmas. With so many Madea movies, you can watch one a month! Portrayed by Tyler Perry himself, he often dons costumes for other characters in the same movie.
