All members of the Free Folk, or wildlings, from the book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin and the HBO show "Game of Thrones." The wildlings are a group of people who live beyond the Wall. They do not recognize the politics, kings, or rules of the Seven Kingdoms, which they consider to be oppressive. They burn their dead to prevent them from becoming wights.

Who is the most prominent member of the Free Folk? Mance Rayder is the pseudo-leader of the wildlings. He is known as the "King-beyond-the-Wall." Mance Rayder appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is played by Ciarán Hinds on the HBO show "Game of Thrones." Mance Rayder was once a member of the Night's Watch, but he left his position in favor of freedom. He has united the wildlings in an attempt to invade the Seven Kingdoms.

Ygritte is a wildling who is excellent with a bow and arrow. She falls in love with Jon Snow when he is posing as a member of the Free Folk. Ygritte later shoots Jon Snow with several arrows after she learns that he is still loyal to the Night's Watch.

Craster

Craster is a wildling who has many wives, many of whom are also his daughters. He appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is played by Robert Pugh on the HBO show "Game of Thrones."

Craster has been known to provide members of the Night's Watch with minimal assistance. He was killed by a man of the watch, who was angry that Craster was not sharing his food with his starving companions.
