She's spent 12 years as one of the hosts on #1 show The Breakfast Club alongside Charlamagne Tha God, before having her own nationally syndicated daily show called Way Up With Angela Yee.

Mystery Boyfriend
Speaking with Essence in 2019, Yee said that she was not single, but that her boyfriend wanted to be kept out of the spotlight.
“He doesn’t want everyone to know who he is, but as soon as we get married or something, you’ll be the first to know," she said, adding, “Let’s talk about the good things about being with my secret boyfriend. My boyfriend is great because he’s always there for me and doesn’t make a big deal out of anything. Which I really like because I am the same way… I have a lot going on that I want people to know about, but I just try to do my job and stay out of other people’s way. I like to keep things simple.”
Yee's romance with New York rapper Vado has been her only public romance of note according to Showbiz Cheat Sheet. They didn't last, but managed to remain friends.
“At the end of the day, I’ve known Vado for almost ten years now. So we went out a few times? That was like nine years ago. And it wasn’t a big deal,” Yee told Essence. “I don’t even look at it like that’s my ex-boyfriend or anything like that. We’ve never had an issue. It just never materialized into anything. We’ve always been cool. I think he’s a really nice guy, honestly.”
