    Shouko Nishimiya From 'A Silent Voice' Was Played By A Deaf Voice Actress

    Shouko Nishimiya is canonically deaf. In order to accurately reflect how a deaf person speaks, deaf voice actress Lexi Marman-Cowden was hired to play Shouko in the dub. The same is not true of Saori Hayami, who played Shouko in the Japanese version.

    Winry Rockbell is often seen wearing multiple pairs of earrings. The reason for this is actually pretty adorable. She originally pierced her ears because she saw Riza Hawkeye sporting earrings, and she thought they were awesome. She got multiple piercings because Ed and Al kept giving her new pairs, and she wanted to be able to wear them all at once.
