Get your predictions in now about the athletes you think are most likely to retire in 2019. Are they injury prone or just getting on in years? 2018 saw quite a few retired players from NFL, MBA, and MLB such as Manu Ginobli, Carson Palmer, and Adrian Gonzalez. Soccer players generally retire in their thirties, but Gianluigi Buffon of Paris Saint-Germain, is now playing into his early forties. There have been a few basketball and baseball players that have also played into their forties like Vince Carter and Peter Moylan. Maybe your top prospect for retirement will surprise you and keep playing. Or there could be some 2019 sports star retirements that no one even saw coming.

No matter what athletes retire this year, they won't soon be forgotten. Generally players that have stuck it out the longest in their respective sports are going for records or hoping for one last shot at the playoffs. Don't see an athlete that you think is going to retire this year? Add them to the list and check back periodically to see which athletes are retiring in 2019.

Take a look at the list below and vote up who you think will call it quits during the season or off-season in 2019.
