    No Sympathy For Marley

    From Redditor u/KingDing94:

I have no sympathy for Marley.

After watching the final scene of [season 4 part 2], it was quite scary to see how powerful and evil Eren has become…that mass genocide was about to occur.

However, Marley shouldn’t have went to Paradis to try to retrieve the Founding Titan. They only wanted excess power.

The Eldians in Paradis were absolutely no threat to them at that point, [they] had their memories wiped out, and would’ve lived in ignorance and peace within the walls for generations.

But just like in some instances in the real world, when people get attacked in a violent way, extremism is usually the response, hence the Rumbling.

    Historia Was Majorly Sidelined

    Historia Was Majorly Sidelined

    From Redditor u/rarely_exactly_right:

Historia Reiss is the worst instance of sidelining a fantastic character that I have ever seen…

She was the queen for god’s sake, there could have been so much done with that. Zackly, Pyxis and Nile were the ones who ruled the military and they and all their supporters were either killed by the Jaegerists or turned into Titans by Zeke. This would have left a power vacuum for Historia to become a true queen, fully taking control of her life as opposed to guiding it through the path she had been set on, becoming a leader to the people of Paradis.

She could have done so much. Instead, she was given this completely pointless pregnancy subplot that had absolutely no justification because Isayama clearly had no idea what do with her post Uprising Arc.

    Ymir Deserved Better

    From A Former Redditor:

Anyone else mad that Ymir didn't get any memorable send off, not even a well-put-together scene to explain the agreement they came upon and the feelings of her and Reiner as she is lead to her death?

It was just so nonchalantly inserted like ‘that Ymir girl lol what a loser, she didn’t deserve that name, pathetic, she just accepted it as I ate her' and that's that…not even a proper flashback. It was just inserted into a conversation that lasted 2 seconds.

    Eren Is Right

    Eren Is Right

    From Redditor u/Souls_God:

Eren is right for not wanting his country to be wiped out.

The alliance still makes zero sense. If you save the world, you'll be the [victims of genocide], so what's the plan? Why save someone who wants to kill you? The world leaders said they wanted to [destroy] Paradis, so Eren is just acting out of self-defense. This is not that complex or deep as the AoT fanbase makes it out to be.
