The first breakout star of Disney Plus has arrived, and it&#39;s Baby Yoda. The second episode of The Mandalorian provided the mysterious character with some fanastic character moments. The internet reacted with plenty of Baby Yoda memes.

When&nbsp;The Mandalorian&nbsp;finally arrived on television sets, phones, tablets, and computer screens everywhere, it was an instant hit -&nbsp;which wasn&#39;t much of a surprise. With Jon Favreau&nbsp;working to bring the show to life, using a ton of Disney cash to make it look great, as well as a talented cast,&nbsp;The Mandalorian was bound to be a success. While nobody could have predicted how adorable Baby Yoda would be, there was another fun surprise the series gave fans: more celebrity guest stars than you can shake a lightsaber at.

It&#39;s not surprising that most celebrities would want to land a role on a hot&nbsp;Star Wars&nbsp;IP, but the plethora of stars who&#39;ve shown up on the series is rather surprising. If you were one of those fans who was delighted by the return of Darth Maul at the end of 2018&#39;s&nbsp;Solo, you might be glad to find he also has some stakes in Mandalorian history. Despite the unprecedented availability of&nbsp;Star Wars&nbsp;content - in Disney&#39;s Galaxy&#39;s Edge theme park, the popular video game&nbsp;Jedi: Fallen Order, and the climactic conclusion to the Skywalker saga,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ranker.com/list/unanswered-questions-rise-of-skywalker/jordan-breeding" target="_blank">Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker</a> -&nbsp;it is the Disney+ show&nbsp;The Mandalorian&nbsp;that is truly causing a stir with the fan base. The second season&nbsp;finale of The Mandalorian was an emotional rollercoaster. It had everything we wanted and some things we never expected. After spending the last episode hunting for Grogu (still getting used to that name), Mando tracked down Moff Gideon&#39;s ship and got everything he wanted, the child, Gideon, and even the darksaber. And fans got a&nbsp;very unexpected and exciting cameo in the form of Luke Skywalker himself (via some CGI magic, though it was Mark Hamill&#39;s voice). Some people thought they should have just recast the role while others wouldn&#39;t have accepted anyone other than Hamill in the robe. There was also an exciting end-credits scene that showed Boba Fett returning to Jabba&#39;s palace (now being run by Bib Fortuna) and taking control of the vast criminal empire.

The end titles promised The Book of Boba Fett&nbsp;in December 2021, so will that be season 3 of The Mandalorian or an entirely new show? Is that the last time we see Mando and Grogu? The&nbsp;Star Wars&nbsp;canon is about as vast as the galaxy in which it&#39;s set. It must be a constant struggle to maintain continuity among dozens of different stories.
