"What is the worst horror movie remake you have ever scene?" - @TommyDoyle47
Over on Twitter, horror movie aficionados are discussing the remakes, reboots, and revamps of beloved scary movies that seemed to take a left turn in terms of quality. From the Dollar Store version of Freddy Krueger to the souless revamp of Chucky, here are a few hot takes about recent remakes.
CHILDS PLAY - maybe I wouldn't have hated it so much if they just made it a new horror movie and not a child's play reboot given that they took away every single thing that the original story special. (just my opinion)

It's from the director of the awful romantic thriller The Perfect Guy and it really ressembles it, the trailer almost makes it look OK but it's just awful when you know how perfect the original is and how useless and stupid it is to remake it. https://t.co/dpHERGr3ja
Yeah it has awful reviews all accross the board, I wouldn't waste my time with this if I were you... but hey, curiosity sometimes. pic.twitter.com/9hjbIxSYMG
The one you show there is a "good" example. But the worst one ever for me was #Psycho. Simply unwatchable, it was blasphemy to begin with to go and remake that one. What were they thinking? Movie producers are morons, most of them. https://t.co/wjjUawbztl
