What shows appear on this best 2000s Black TV shows list? When Chappelle's Show premiered in 2003 it became an instant hit with comedy fans. The show ended after only three seasons, but it still ranks among the best sketch shows of all time. Everybody Hates Chris was also a good Black TV series that aired in the 2000s.

African American women are often under represented on television, but the great 2000s Black TV show Girlfriends depicted interesting and engaging women throughout its eight season run.
