Buckle up, because it's time to vote for the top 2010s action movies. This has been an extraordinary decade for action cinema. Advancements in stuntwork, camerawork, and CGI have made it possible for filmmakers to come up with previously unimaginable action sequences that deliver top-notch thrills. As such, good action scenes in movies have both a dash realism and an intensity unlike what audiences have seen in previous decades. It's no exaggeration to say that the genre is more vibrant now than ever before.

The greatest action films of the 2010s are as diverse as they are exciting. There are traditional spy/cop/secret agent pictures like the Mission: Impossible series or Skyfall. There are also, of course, superhero movies, The Avengers, Logan, and Black Panther are three prime examples. Others take the traditional action format and ratchet it up to new levels. The John Wick trilogy emphasizes that. And then there are the game-changers -- the ones that write their own rules. Mad Max: Fury Road, considered by many to be the best of the best 2010s action movies, is in a class by itself.
