List Rules Vote up your favorite African American comedy films that were released in the 1990s

Prepare for a plethora of Wayans brothers, because this is a list of '90s black comedy movies, ranked from best to worst. It's time to settle once and for all just which 1990s black comedy film is the best. It won't be easy, because '90s black comedies actually cover a lot of ground, from movies that feature action and adventure to films that sprinkle romance on top of the funny stuff. With your votes, though, one African American comedy from the 1990s will emerge victorious.

What are some of the best '90s black comedy movies? No list would be complete without Friday, the classic comedy co-starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker as a pair of stoners hanging out on a crazy Friday. As for the Wayans family, Major Payne, Mo' Money, and Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood also appear on this funny 1990s African American comedy films list. They join Eddie Murphy, who is a comedy heavyweight in more ways than one thanks to The Nutty Professor.

Several hilarious franchises also began in the 1990s, including Bad Boys, House Party and Rush Hour. Sister Act is another black comedy movie released in the '90s, and it also spawned a sequel.

Vote up your favorite African American comedy movies from the 1990s and vote down the films that just aren't as good.  If we missed any classics, don't hesitate to add them. And if you've seen all of these, go ahead and rerank to create your own definitive '90s black comedy movie list!
