The Best Country Singers of the '90s

Over 900 Ranker voters have come together to rank this list of The Best Country Singers of the '90s

The 1990s may perhaps be one of the greatest eras of country music ever. From Grammy Award-winning royalty Shania Twain and Dolly Parton to the “King of Country” George Strait, countless superstars transformed the classic genre through heartfelt ballads and relatable hit singles, indisputably paving the way for today's country singer-songwriters. Garth Brooks and Vince Gill proved that cowboys can be rock stars too, by fusing electric guitar and heavy percussion with their unique country sound; and Alan Jackson brought back traditional country music into the mainstream with old school original songs. Country music's favorite power couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill remain household names (and marriage goals) with international commercial success and Hollywood influence across the film-music industry, and mother-daughter duo the Judds were recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame (rest in peace, Naomi).

Which of these talented musicians do you believe are the greatest 90s country singers, and who deserves GOAT status at the top of this list? Vote below for your favorite 1990s country music artists across the decade, and feel free to check out their discography lists afterwards if you'd like to discover more of their best albums.
