When it comes to the best '90s war movies, everyone has their favorite go-to. Saving Private Ryan is definitely one of the top most iconic '90's war movies of all time, but is it truly #1? The 90's had quite the blockbuster list of hits when it came to historical war movies, ranging from World War II to 14th Century Scotland. (Who could possibly forget Braveheart?!)

One of the biggest releases of 1998, Saving Private Ryan is often considered one of the greatest 1990's war movies. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the film follows a squad of men during the Battle of Normandy, led by Tom Hanks as Captain John H. Miller.

Schindler's List is a great war movie from the 90's that focuses less on the battlefield, and was also directed by Spielberg. The film went on to win seven Academy Awards, including best director and best picture.

So what's your top pick on this list of 90s war movies? Make your opinion count by upvoting your favorites.
