Although it's hard to look at Apu these days and not see the controversy surrounding his character on The Simpsons, it's worth remembering the character at his best. Intelligent, kind-hearted, hard-working, one of the best Simpsons characters and one of Homer's only friends that isn't an alcoholic, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon was featured in some of the best classic Simpsons episodes before he was written off the show in 2018. While these episodes ranged from totally Apu centric to having the Kwik-E-Mart manager appear in a cameo in various unexpected roles, what the best Apu episodes of The Simpsons have in common is that they're all hilarious and filled with heart.
It's easy to see that The Simpsons has lost its way, but looking back at the best of Apu reminds us why we fell in love with this show in the first place. So let's try not to get shot by Snake while we sing a few verses of "Who Needs the Kwik-E-Mart" because it's time to rank the best Apu episodes of The Simpsons. Thank you, come again.
