Alex Hannum lead the Hawks to their only NBA Finals championship, which he did in 1958. Hannum was selected into the NBA Hall of Fame. Lenny Wilkens coached the Hawks from 1993-2000. In that time he won the NBA Coach of the Year award for the 1993-1994 NBA season.
