With numerous racially-charged films and black comedies released this year, it's time to rank the best black movies of 2018. While such films are certainly nothing new, quite a few hit theaters in 2018 with a serious bang. Whether they be hood movies or eye-opening dramas, the best black movies this year have not disappointed. Of all the 2018 black films, however, which ones did you think were best?

Though they certainly fall under the top black films category, 2018 hits BlacKkKlansman and Sorry to Bother You were some of the best films this year no matter the genre and cast. Then you have the action-packed Black Panther, along with the riveting drama Blindspotting. Featuring top black actors as well as plenty of newcomers, the list of 2018 black movies includes something for everybody.
