From sitcoms to thrillers to dramas, there are more TV shows with black ensemble casts now than ever before. The best black TV shows of 2023 include the Fresh Prince reboot Bel-Air, 50 Cent's Power series, and the Emmy nominated Lupin.
Though several fan favorites ended in 2022, including Claws and Black-ish, there are more than enough running series to fill that hole in your heart. Issa Rae's Rap Shit! is a comedy loosely based on the City Girls come-up. There's also The Wonder Years, a a coming-of-age story inspired by the 80s series of the same name. Of course, if you want something grittier, there's crime drama Snowfall.
