Cy Denneny was the first Bruins coach to win the Stanley Cup finals, which he did in 1929.ย The 1928-1929 season wasย Cy Denneny's lone season as head coach of the Bruins Art Ross, who coached the Bruins in three non consecutive stints, was the first head coach of the Bruins in 1924.
