In their time competing in the NHL, the Carolina Hurricanes have only had a handful of coaches. That being said, who is the best Carolina Hurricanes head coach of all time? This list ranks all four Carolina Hurricanes coaches from best to worst with the help of our users. Plenty of hockey fans have already voted on this list, but we want you to contribute as well. Upvote your top Carolina Hurricanes coaches, keeping stats like regular season record and playoff appearances in mind.

Peter Laviolette is the only coach in Hurricanes history to win a Stanley Cup. Laviolette's Hurricanes won in 2006. Paul Maurice also lead the Hurricanes to a Stanley Cup finals, but came up short of winning it all. Maurice however does hold the distinction of successfully overseeing the Hurricanes move from Hartford, CT to Raleigh, NC.

If the Carolina Hurricanes assembled a team featuring the best NHL players from every decade, who would you choose as coach? Vote up the winningest Carolina Hurricanes coach, or simply just the coach that you personally liked the most, whether they're one of the National Hockey League's all-time greatest coaches or not.
