The Best Cheerleading Movies

List Rules
Vote up your favorite films that feature cheerleaders or cheerleading as major characters.

Here is a list of the best cheerleading movies ranked by fans just like you. These are films that focus on the sport of cheerleading, including what happens on the field as well as behind the scenes (such as cheerleading scandals). Most of these films are categorized as dramas, albeit dramas geared towards a teenage audience. Cheerleading movies began mostly as exploitation films in the 1970s. The genre largely died out during the '80s and '90s until it saw a resurgence in the year 2000 with the film Bring it On. Cheer movies have since become popular because people like to see a behind-the-scenes look into the subculture of cheerleaders. Most cheerleading films have something for everyone and you can check out Netflix to see if you can start streaming them right now.

What are the best cheerleading movies? If you have an opinion on this, please vote! You can vote for more than one cheerleading movie, so vote up your favorites and vote down any movies that you think cheerleading fans should skip.
