Charles Tillman

Charles Anthony Tillman (born February 23, 1981), nicknamed Peanut, is a former American football cornerback, who is currently a United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent. He played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
Tillman played 12 years for the Bears, helping them reach Super Bowl XLI, and also played one year with the Carolina Panthers, making Super Bowl 50 with the team, although he had been placed on injured reserve earlier in the season. He was selected to two Pro Bowls and was the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2013. He was known for his cover skills as well as his ability to force fumbles by stripping or "punching" the ball away from players, with his well-timed punch of the ball commonly known as the "Peanut Punch".After retiring from the NFL, Tillman joined the FBI in 2018.

Timothy DeShawn Jennings (born December 24, 1983) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at Georgia, and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
Jennings has also played for the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the Colts, he won Super Bowl XLI against the Bears.

Nathan Vasher

Nathaniel DeWayne Vasher (born November 17, 1981) is a former American football cornerback who played seven seasons in the National Football League. He played college football at Texas and was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
He has also been a member of the San Diego Chargers and Detroit Lions.

Donnell Woolford

Donnell Woolford (born January 6, 1966) is a former professional American football cornerback who was selected by the Chicago Bears in the 1st round (11th overall) of the 1989 NFL Draft. Woolford played in 10 NFL seasons for the Bears from 1989 to 1997, the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1997 to 1998 and Carolina Panthers from 1998-1999. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 1993. Woolford was surpassed by Charles Tillman for the most interceptions by a Bears cornerback, although Donnell achieved the goal 18 games faster than Tillman. Graduate of Douglas Byrd High School Cumberland County Schools in Fayetteville, N. C. Graduate of Clemson. 
Woolford was born in Baltimore, Maryland.

Leslie Frazier

Leslie Antonio Frazier (born April 3, 1959) is an American football coach and former cornerback who is the defensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills. He served as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings from 2011 to 2013.

Mike Richardson

Michael Isaiah Richardson (born February 18, 1984) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs.  He played college football at Notre Dame.

Bennie McRae

Benjamin Prince "Bennie" McRae (December 8, 1939 – November 22, 2012) was an American football player.  A native of Newport News, Virginia, McRae played college football as a halfback at the University of Michigan from 1959 to 1961 and professional football, principally as a cornerback, for 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Chicago Bears (1962–1970) and New York Giants (1971).

Jerry Azumah

Jerry Azumah ( ə-ZOO-mə; born September 1, 1977) is a former American football cornerback who played seven seasons for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL).  He played college football for the University of New Hampshire, and was selected by the Bears in the fifth round of the 1999 NFL Draft.  He is currently a businessman and philanthropist.

Prince Amukamara

Prince Kelechi Amukamara (born June 6, 1989) is an American football cornerback for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Nebraska, and earned unanimous All-American honors.  He was drafted by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, and was a member of the Giants' Super Bowl XLVI championship team as a rookie against his hometown team, the New England Patriots. Amukamara has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Robert William McQuarters, II (born December 21, 1976) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oklahoma State.

Dave Whitsell

David A. Whitsell (born June 14, 1936 – October 7, 1999) was an American football cornerback in the National Football League for the Detroit Lions, the Chicago Bears, and the New Orleans Saints. He was selected to the Pro Bowl after the 1967 season.  Whitsell played college football at Indiana University.
Dave Whitsell attended Shelby High School in Shelby, Michigan, a small town in West Michigan near Lake Michigan.  He earned 16 high school letters in football, basketball, track, and baseball, graduating in 1954.
For twelve seasons (1958–1960, 1961–66, 1967–69), he played at the cornerback and defensive back positions in the National Football League with the Lions, Bears, and Saints. 
Born David Andrew Whitsell, he played collegiate football at Indiana University in Bloomington. He was chosen by the Detroit Lions in the 24th round of the 1958 NFL Draft, and appeared in 36 career games with them.
With the Chicago Bears he was one of the members of the 1963 National Football League championship team, which included Rosey Taylor, Richie Petitbon and future legendary coach Mike Ditka at tight end. The game, which was played on December 29, 1963 at Wrigley Field in Chicago, pitted the visiting New York Giants against the Bears in the 31st annual event. The Bears won 14 to 10.
After three years with the Bears he became a Saint for the team's 1967 inaugural season. During the NFL's expansion draft, New Orleans was able to pick players from existing teams. He became the first member of the New Orleans franchise to play in the NFL's Pro Bowl game. Whitsell also led the entire league in 1967 in interceptions with 10. 
After his retirement from football he became a real estate investor. He was also a member of the National Football League Retired Players Association and the Kenner North Kiwanis Club. Whitsell was inducted into the Western Michigan Hall of Fame in 1989 and the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame in 1996. He died from cancer.

Tracy Porter

Tracy O'Neil Porter  (born August 11, 1986) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. With the Saints, he won Super Bowl XLIV against the Indianapolis Colts, sealing the game with a memorable interception returned for a touchdown. He played college football at Indiana.
Porter also played for the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins, and Chicago Bears.

Tom Carter

Thomas Carter, III (born September 5, 1972) is a former American football cornerback who played in the National Football League from 1993 to 2001.  The 17th overall draft pick in the 1993 NFL Draft, Carter played nine seasons for the Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, and Cincinnati Bengals. Carter played quarterback at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, and accepted a scholarship to play college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he was a three-year starter at the free safety position.  He currently works for the NFL Players Association. 
Carter has four children: Alex, Madison, Cameron, and Peyton. Cameron died of Type 1 diabetes at age 14 on February 21, 2012. Alex Carter was named Virginia's 2011 Gatorade Player of the Year, and was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions after a standout career at Stanford.  Madison is currently a news reporter for WVIR-TV NBC29 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Virgil Livers

Virgil Chester Livers, Jr. (born March 26, 1952 in Fairfield, Kentucky) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 1975 NFL Draft. He played college football at Western Kentucky.
Livers has been an assistant principal at Bowling Green High School from 1998 to 2017.Livers is known for a testicle injury during his NFL career with the Chicago Bears, and there are a number of articles on football injuries and the importance of wearing cups that reference his injury, and some that go into excruciating detail.Livers also played for the USFL Chicago Blitz 1983-1984 as a defensive back.  The team went 17-20 in those two years. In 2017, Livers was inducted into the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Lemuel Stinson

Lemuel Stinson (born May 10, 1966) is a former professional American football cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). 
Stinson was born in Houston, Texas, where he graduated from Worthing High School. Stinson played in the NFL for six seasons, from 1988 to 1993. He played college football for the University of Texas Tech for three seasons (1984, 85, 87) as a receiver and cornerback. While at Texas Tech, he also competed in track and field as a hurdler. Stinson was selected in the sixth round of the 1988 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, where he played until briefly joining the Atlanta Falcons in 1993, his final season.
While at Texas Tech, he became a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.

Jeremy Arlo Lincoln (born April 7, 1969 in Toledo, Ohio) is an American football cornerback who played eight seasons in the NFL.
Lincoln played football and ran track at DeVilbiss High School (Toledo, Ohio), where he was part of the 1987 Ohio High School state championship track team, and the University of Tennessee.  He is most famous for the blocked field goal attempt in the last seconds of the Vols' "Miracle in South Bend" victory against Notre Dame where he blocked the field goal with his butt.

Joseph L. Taylor (born August 27, 1939 in Thomasville, Georgia) is a former professional American football cornerback who played his entire 8-year National Football League career with the Chicago Bears.

Curt Gentry

Curtis William Gentry (born August 8, 1941) is a former American football player and coach.  He played professionally as a defensive back for three seasons  in the National Football League (NFL) with the Chicago Bears.  Gentry served as the head football coach at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in 1976 and at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri in 1980.

Erich Barnes

Erich Theodore Barnes ( EE-ritch; born July 4, 1935) was an American football defensive back in the National Football League.  He was a six-time Pro Bowler.  Before the NFL, he was an outstanding all-around athlete at Purdue University (1956–58), where one of his teammates was future NFL star quarterback Len Dawson.
Barnes was drafted in the fourth round by the Bears in the 1958 NFL Draft and traded to the Giants in 1961.  He tied an NFL record in his first season with the Giants by intercepting a pass against the Cowboys and returning it 102 yards for a touchdown.  In the 1962 NFL Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers in New York, the Giants tried to redeem themselves from a 37-0 shellacking by the Packers in the 1961 title game.  However, they lost again to Lombardi's Packers on a fiercely windy and cold day in Yankee Stadium.  Barnes set up the only scoring for the Giants when he blocked a punt that was recovered by Giants teammate Jim Collier in the end zone in a 16-7 loss.Barnes was known as an aggressive, physical player, and is the Giants record holder for longest interception return after scoring on a 102-yard return against the Dallas Cowboys in 1961.After the 1964 season, the Giants traded him to the Cleveland Browns—his favorite team as a child—for linebacker Mike Lucci and a 1966 third round draft pick which the Giants then traded to Detroit for quarterback Earl Morrall. This trade further aggravated the demise of a once stellar Giants defense that had already lost standouts Sam Huff and Dick Modzelewski, who was also traded to the Browns and an integral component of their 1964 NFL championship team after the 1963 season.
While with the Browns, Barnes was known for standing at the goalpost (then stationed at the goal line) and blocking field goal attempts (a practice later outlawed in the NFL).
After his football career, Barnes went on to work in the New York City area as a corporate special events planner. He was elected to the Indiana Football Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Purdue University Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009. In 2012, the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mike Pettica ranked Barnes as the #63 player in Browns' history (counting only what players did playing for Cleveland). 
The Professional Football Researchers Association named Barnes to the PRFA Hall of Very Good Class of 2013 In November 1963, Barnes appeared as one of the impostors on the panel game show To Tell the Truth, claiming to be a sentinel at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Tom Poston was particularly chagrined at not having recognized Barnes, who fooled two of the four panelists.

Terry Schmidt

Terry Richard Schmidt (born May 28, 1952 in Columbus, Indiana) is an American dentist and former American football player, playing cornerback in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears.  He played college football at Ball State University where he was an All-American.
After completing his football career, Schmidt attended Loyola University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated first in his class in 1989. His entire professional dental career has been spent working in the Veterans Administration hospital system, first at the North Chicago VA Hospital where he was Chief of Dental Services for six years, later at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, Florida and the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina.  Schmidt is currently chief of dental services at the James H Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. He is also a retired commander in the United States Naval Reserve.  Dr. Schmidt and his wife, Nancy Chamberlain Schmidt, perform missionary dentistry in third world countries, most notably in Central and South America and in Africa. He also serves on the medical board of the Christian Medical Service for Construction for Worldwide Evangelism.
