The top classic family movies feature uplifting storylines where good triumphs over evil and everyone lives happily ever after. This is a list of the greatest classic family films including everything from The Sound of Music to Bedknobs and Broomsticks to Charlotte's Web.

What films will you find on this list of beloved old children's movies? The Wizard of Oz invites kids of all ages to sing along with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion as they “follow the yellow brick road” to The Emerald City. The Wicked Witch can be a bit scary for young children, but Glinda the Good Witch represents kindness throughout the film. The Parent Trap is another fun movie to watch with the entire family. The Muppet Movie finds Kermit and his friends traveling to California to find success in show business.
