The Best Superhero Couples Of All Time

List RulesOnly couples where both partners are superheroes. Anti-heroes are okay but no Lois Lanes or Mary Jane Watsons.

The best superhero couples have been around ever since the first superheroes started fighting crime. Writers and artists have been giving them love interests to keep them occupied when they aren't beating up bad guys. While most famous superheroes in the early days kept their dating limited to regular folk, over time, they expanded to date others like themselves, and nearly a century's worth of comics have resulted in the joining of some amazing superhero couples.

Some of the best pairings in the Marvel, DC, and Image universes involve the most powerful people around, and despite being comparable to gods, they have their relationship troubles, just like the rest of us. As a result, not every superhero couple can stand as one of the best relationships around. Some just don't cut it when compared to others.

This list looks at the top couples from all manner of comics down below. Don't forget to give your favorite cute superhero couples a vote up to see which one rises to the top to be declared the best comic book superhero couple of all time!

Despite the silent treatment, they have shared the throne in leading the Inhumans for pretty much the entire time they've been in the Marvel Universe, if anything, they're proof that love can transcend words.

Depending on which version of the characters you're looking at (pre or post-Crisis), they have been shown to truly love one another. Their post-Crisis versions are connected eternally beyond death and are constantly resurrected in a new age, where they inevitably find one another.
