The 22 Best Cursed Techniques From 'Jujutsu Kaisen' (So Far)

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the hottest shonen anime to appear in recent years. Part of that is because of the badass cursed techniques that the characters display every episode. For this list, will be giving some shine to those very moves. Some come from heroic Jujutsu Sorcerers, while others come from the Cursed Spirits they seek to defeat, but all are incredibly cool.

This list only focuses on the techniques that have appeared in the first season of the anime. There are a whole lot of other cool ones that are manga-only. Hopefully, we'll get to see those in animated form in future seasons.

Vote up the very best cursed techniques that you'd want to use yourself.

    Limitless

Limitless is Satoru Gojo's signature move. Its base technique, Mugen, creates an extremely thin barrier between Gojo and his opponent that uses the mathematical principle that no matter how many times a number is divided, it never reaches zero. He also uses offensive offshoots of Limitless called Blue, Red, and Purple, which all work in complex and unique ways, allowing Gojo to manipulate matter, create magnetism, crush people's entire bodies, and more.

    Reverse Cursed Technique

The Reverse Cursed Technique reverses cursed energy into positive energy. This is done by multiplying two sources of cursed energy with one another and is normally used for healing purposes. That's why its main user is Shoko Ieiri, the doctor at Tokyo Jujutsu High. However, Satoru Gojo also makes use of this technique by taking positive energy and applying it to his Limitless technique, creating an explosion.

    Domain Expansion

Domain Expansion is a highly advanced technique that only the strongest cursed energy users can pull off. While there are as many varieties as there are users, they all share the same basic premise of creating a closed space that the target cannot escape from, and which dramatically enhances the effectiveness of the user's other techniques.

    Cursed Speech

The Inumaki family uses an inherited technique called Cursed Speech. This allows them to either control a person's actions or cause them to have an experience through their words. So, for example, Toge Inumaki can tell someone to stop moving, and they'll do it, or he can ask them to be crushed and it will happen. Because Cursed Speech is so volatile, he keeps speaking to a minimum. When he does speak, he doesn't use normal language, but rice ball toppings instead.

    Dismantle & Cleave

As the primary Cursed Spirit in the series, it's no surprise that Sukuna's powers would be off the chain. Dismantle is his standard slashing attack, while Cleave uses cursed energy to adjust its strength based on the opponent's body. You do not want to get in its way.

    Rika

Known as the Queen of Curses, Rika is an extraordinarily powerful Cursed Spirit who is attached Yuta Okkotsu. Initially, the two were childhood friends, but after Rika was hit by a car and lost her life, the grief of the incident transformed her into a Curse. Whenever anyone threatens Yuta - or whenever Rika gets jealousy pangs - she manifests. Whether she's literally tearing her opponents to shreds or shooting them with high-powered energy beams, she's practically unbeatable. The only problem is that at first, Yuta can't really control her powers, which means a whole lot of destruction that he doesn't want.
