The Technis Imperative
Story Found In: JLA/Titans #1-3

His internal struggle comes to a head during the "Technis Imperative," a crossover event featuring both the New Teen Titans and the Justice League of America.
Technis is an alien life form intent on assimilating all knowledge in the universe, which eventually takes it to Earth. The event utterly changed Cyborg as he was singled out by Technis and turned into Cyberion.
