If you're interested in reading the best Cyborg stories DC Comics has published, it can be difficult to dig through such a huge pile of one-shot comic book issues, graphic novels, trade paperbacks, anthologies, and everything else to find out which Cyborg stories are the best of them all.

The New Teen Titans, Volume 4

Story Found In: The New Teen Titans #21-27 and The New Teen Titans Annual #1

The fourth collection of New Teen Titan tales by legendary comic book duo Marv Wolfman and George Pérez features some of the most intense stories they crafted for the superhero team. With even deadlier foes and a tangled web of relationships you might expect in a series devoted to teenagers, the stories in this book should not be overlooked!

      Blenders From Hell!

Story Found In: Teen Titans Spotlight on Cyborg #20

Long before Cyborg received his own series, he was the focus in a couple of issues of Teen Titans Spotlight, which featured a different character in each book. His second outing in the title came in issue #20's story, "Blenders from Hell!" The story involves Cyborg, but also Changeling after they receive a request for assistance from Nick, a Jamaican hacker who has a unique type of infestation in his apartment that only the New Teen Titans could handle.

This is yet another single-issue story featuring Cyborg the fans have always loved. It and the other Teen Titans Spotlight have been compiled into a single trade paperback, but if that's not available, you should make every attempt to add this amazing Peter B. Gillis and Tom Artis work to your Cyborg collection!

        The Technis Imperative

        Story Found In: JLA/Titans #1-3

Cyborg has always had a tenuous grasp with his humanity ever since most of his organic body was destroyed at the same time he was turned into a superhero. His internal struggle comes to a head during the "Technis Imperative," a crossover event featuring both the New Teen Titans and the Justice League of America.

Technis is an alien life form intent on assimilating all knowledge in the universe, which eventually takes it to Earth. As Technis attempts to capture heroes and assimilate the whole planet, the Titans jump into the fray alongside the JLA and succeed in defeating it! The event utterly changed Cyborg as he was singled out by Technis and turned into Cyberion. Saving Cyborg meant returning him to his humanity, but the event was difficult and would have a lasting impact on the character for years to come.
