This is a list of the best Dallas Cowboys of all time. The Dallas Cowboys are not only the one of to the top teams in the NFL, but also the league's most valuable franchise. Why is that? For most of the Cowboys storied history, they've been one of the most successful teams in all of football, winning rings with Hall of Fame-level Cowboys players. Combine that with the Cowboys penchant to having many of the greatest players in football history and renowned superstar players, it makes sense to why so many people will call themselves Cowboys fans. Many of the Cowboys players on this iist are some of the greatest players ever.

From 1966-1985, 20 consecutive seasons, the Cowboys possessed a winning record at the end of the season. This is a NFL record and the gold standard of success. Throughout the franchise's existence, the team has had a fair share of Hall of Fame players. Roger Staubach, "Bullet" Bob Hayes, Randy White, Tony Dorsett are some of the first Cowboys players to be inducted to the Football Hall of Fame. The team's run of success in the early '90s saw them win three Super Bowls in four years. Some of the best players in team history were on those teams. Hall of Famers Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders rounded out an NFL powerhouse.
