List Rules This list includes studio albums only, so if you add an album make sure it's a proper studio release.

Danzig is widely regarded as one of the best metal bands of all time. Since they're such an influential band, let’s rank the best Danzig albums, with the help of your votes. Formed in 1987 in Lodi, New Jersey, Glenn Danzig formed Danzig after his previous band (Samhain) dissolved. Danzig turned to a bluesy, thick heavy metal band influenced by early Black Sabbath. Albums like Danzig II: Lucifuge (1990) and Danzig III: How the Gods Kill (1992) along with the single "Her Black Wings" display this sound best.

This Danzig discography is ranked from best to worst, so the top Danzig albums can be found at the top of the list. To make it easy for you, we haven't included Danzig singles, EPs, or compilations, so everything you see here should only be studio albums. If you think the greatest Danzig album isn't high enough on the list, then be sure to vote for it so it receives the credit it deserves. Make sure you don't just vote for critically acclaimed albums; if you have a favorite Danzig album, then vote it up, even if it's not necessarily the most popular.

The list you're viewing is made up of a variety of different albums, including Deth Red Sabaoth (2010) and I Luciferi (2002). This list of popular Danzig CDs has been voted on by music fans around the world, so the order of this list isn't just one person's opinion.
