List RulesThis list includes studio albums only, so if you add an album make sure it's a proper studio release.

British bred rockers Def Leppard are known as one of best bands of all time, and are a band that should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since they’re such an influential band, let’s rank the best Def Leppard albums, with the help of your votes. Although Def Leppard formed in 1977 when British heavy metal was hugely masculine and the order of the day. The Sheffield-based quintet led by lead singer Joe Elliott cleverly dropped their dominant hard rock sound for a glossier, pop-rock sound. The band’s good looks and catchy hooks on Pyromania (1983) aligned with the early years of MTV, which catapulted them from English pubs to stadiums around the world. Other popular albums include Hysteria (1987) and On Through the Night (1980).

This Def Leppard discography is ranked from best to worst, so the top Def Leppard albums can be found at the top of the list. To make it easy for you, we haven't included Def Leppard singles, EPs, or compilations, so everything you see here should only be studio albums. If you think the greatest Def Leppard album isn't high enough on the list, then be sure to vote for it so it receives the credit it deserves.

Make sure you don't just vote for critically acclaimed albums like Adrenalize (1992); if you have a favorite Def Leppard album, then vote it up, even if it's not necessarily the most popular. This list of popular Def Leppard CDs has been voted on by music fans around the world, so the order of this list isn't just one person's opinion.
