- Lady Tremaine abuses her stepdaughter, Cinderella, both mentally and physically every single day.
- She has raised, spoiled, and pampered two terrible daughters and allowed them to be just as wicked and cruel to Cinderella as she is.
- She tries to force Cinderella not to go to the ball and then hides her when the kingdom comes looking for her.

- She puts family first and is a loving mother (to her own children) and will do anything to have them succeed.
