Though not everybody advertises this fact, a lot of manga readers love ecchi. Well, there's no need to be embarrassed - let's celebrate this titillating genre instead.
Many of these ecchi manga blur genres, like High School of the Dead. Sure there are ecchi elements to it, but there is also a ton of bloody battles and intense action. Other manga focus less on fighting and are more slice of life, such as Domestic Girlfriend. Hopefully, we named some of your faves - and hopefully you find something new to get excited about.
Issei Hyodo is an ordinary teenager who spends his days fantasizing about hot women. His life takes a dramatic turn when a girl who asks him on a date turns out to be a fallen angel out for his blood. This would have been the end if not for Rias Gremory, a devil who reincarnates Issei as a devil and has him start serving as her faithful pet.
High School of the Dead is proof that you can turn any subject into ecchi if you try hard enough. A group of high schoolers are forced to contend with a zombie outbreak that has quickly ravaged all of Japan. If they want to survive, they'll have to make tough decisions, like whether or not to end their friends who have been bitten - but at least they'll look hot doing it.
To Love-Ru Darkness is the sequel to To Love-Ru. It focuses on Lala's younger sister Momo, who intends to guarantee a place for herself in Rito's life by creating a harem for him with her at the center.
One of her harem recruits is a notorious assassin named Konjiki no Yami. She has some pushback from Yami's sister, who wants her to return to the assassin game. Also, Momo's sister Lala isn't exactly thrilled about Momo muscling in on her territory!
Kimihito Kurusu is living peacefully on his own until one day, he ends up being tasked with the role of caretaker for a lamia named Mia through a government program designed to integrate demi-humans into human society. Mia might be the first, but she isn't the last.
Taking care of all these demi-humans would be hard enough, but the thing that makes it the most challenging is the fact that they're all wildly attracted to him. Kimihito can't respond to those feelings because sexual activity between caretakers and their charges is illegal. Talk about sexual tension!
Because of something called the Breakdown Phenomenon, Arata Kasuga hometown and all of its inhabitants suddenly disappear. He's able to create an artificial version of it using a grimoire given to him by his cousin.
This quickly falls apart when Lilith Asami demands that he give up the book or give up his life. Arata manages to swing a third option - enroll in the Royal Biblia Academy, a school that will give him the power he needs to investigate the phenomenon and bring his hometown - and especially his cousin - back for real.
All Rito Yuuki wants to do is work up the nerve to confess to his crush, Haruna. His chances of doing so are pretty much trashed after a naked girl named Lala Satalin Deviluke crashlands on top of him when he's bathing. Lala is the princess of an alien empire and wants to marry Rito in order to avoid a political marriage.
She's not the only supernatural being who's interested in Rito - and none of them are about to give him up for some ordinary human girl.
