Vote up the best starting classes in Elden Ring

We are ranking the best starting classes in Elden Ring! Elden Ring by far is the most ambitious game that have come out of fromsoftware studios, featuring a vast open world, a wide variety of weapons and magical spells, and of course the most difficult soul crushing bosses ever made. Before players can venture out to this dangerous world, just as it was in Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls, and Bloodborne, they must choose a starting class in Elden Ring.

Ranging from a variety of playstyles, Elden Ring classes have something for everyone. If you are looking for a strong reliable class that can take a hit, players might pick the Warrior or Vagabond. If you are looking to deal heavy damage with magic and from a long range, classes like the Prisoner and Confessor are perfect. While picking one class doesn’t necessarily lock you into a particular playstyle, it will affect how you will play in the beginning of the game.

Which starting class do you think is the best? Vote up the best Elden Ring starting class that you think is the best for your journey and be sure to check out the funniest Elden Ring memes!

    Samurai

Equipped with a katana, bow, arrows, and a shield, the Samurai class is geared towards a dexterity and bleed build that can be extremely powerful especially in the early parts of the game. The class is very good for both new and old players alike as it offers a build that is not only easy to master, it is completely beginner friendly, and veteran players would be able to use this build to its fullest potential making it one of the best in the game.

    Astrologer

Dubbed as the official mage class in Elden Ring, the Astrologer class has high Intelligence and Mind stats which is important for players who are looking for a magic build. Equipped with a staff, a sword and small shield, the Astrologer class is arguably the most beginner friendly class for new players as it offers them a variety of long range attacks that can help thin out a mob of enemies and defeat bosses without going up close and personal.

    Prisoner

The Prisoner class has high Intelligence and Dexterity, and medium physical stats, making it a balanced character from the beginning. However, the class is geared towards a spell blade build where it relies on enchanting weapons with magic for maximum damage. While the class is geared towards an advanced playstyle that requires time and attention, it is undeniably a fun style that pays off.

    Warrior

One of the most balanced starting classes in the game, the Warrior class is a dexterity based build that encourages dual wielding. Equipped with two scimitars and a light shield, the class is recommended for experienced players who know how to duel wield, however the class build is not extremely difficult to master making it a fun challenging start for new players.
