Claws is a drama TV series airing on TNT, though it was originally slated for an HBO run. Claws stars Niecy Nash, Carrie Preston, and Judy Reyes. In the series, a group of manicurists in Palmetto, Florida, enter the crime world after they begin laundering money for their next-door business neighbor. Season one of Claws won an NAACP Image Award for outstanding writing (Janine Sherman Barrois), and has received generally positive reviews overall.
