First Take is a popular show on ESPN that has been on the air since 2007. It airs daily every Monday through Friday where a table of commentators discusses the latest developments in the sports world. Over the last decade, numerous different anchors and sportscasters have taken the reigns and offered their insights as regular contributions on this popular ESPN show. First Take was initially preceded by Cold Pizza. When the show first started, Skip Bayless, Jay Crawford, and Dana Jacobson. Crawford and Jacobson came from Cold Pizza and offered their hot takes until they left the show in 2011 and 2012, respectively. It was also around this time the show underwent a dramatic format change. At this time, the show focused more on debate, with the hosts offering more heated discussions. The show moved to New York in 2018.
