In fact, there are so many eyeshadow collections - everyday nude palettes, date night smokey palettes, dusk tone palettes, warm and bronzey palettes - that we just couldn't pick the ultimate one. 

We polled Facebook makeup junkies to find out which ones they can't live without and we got more than we bargained for. They told us which ones to buy for which occasions, when to use them, and sometimes even offered more affordable shadow palette dupes.
