One of the incantations of the capital's ancient dragon cult, the Lightning Spear is a spell that every soulsborne player is familiar with as it has made multiple appearances throughout the Soulsborne series. A reliable spell that can be acquired early on, the Lightning spear allows players to throw a bolt of lightning at their enemies and stands out as one of the best for its practicality. 

Location: Found with the Dragon Cult Prayerbook which is dropped by a Leyndell Knight patrolling south of Artist's Shack.

A spell that channels the power of the ancient dragon Lansseax, the sister of Fortissax. The spell allows its casters to creates a red-lightning glaive and sweeps the area from above creating trails of lightning. The spell stands out as one of the best faith spells due to its large range of attack and its movement that resembles a boss striking down their weak foes to oblivion.

By far one of the strongest dragon based spells in Elden Ring, Placidusax's Ruin represents the dying wails of the Dragonlord who once dwelled in an eternity placed beyond time. Similar to its last dying breaths, the caster conjures head of Placidusax and shoots out a beam of its golden breath in an erratic fashion devastating every direction it goes towards. Anyone who has faced against Placidusax will know the destructive power of its golden breath attack and how it devastates the entire battle field.

One of the best healing spells in the game, the Erdtree Heal is One of the ancient Erdtree incantations that can grants superior healing for you and your allies at a rate of 5.9%. Considering that the game is filled with enemies and bosses that have the ability to one shot your characters, the Erdtree Heal is a crucial spell that can either make or break the difference in a battle between success and endless retries.

Location: Can be found in Queen's Bedchamber in Leyndell, Capital of Ash after igniting the Forge of the Giants and defeating Maliketh, Black Blade of Death.

One of the more simpler faith spells on the list, the Flame, Cleanse Me incantation stands out as one of the best spells in the game for its ability to alleviates buildup and fully actualized status effects from poison and scarlet rot. Considering that some of the most important areas of the game is filled with enemies that is able to deal poison and scarlet rot damage and is likely surrounded by swamps of poison,  the Flame, Cleanse Me is considered an absolute necessity to every Elden Ring player.

A faith based attack that is notoriously powerful for scarlet rot buildup and effect status, Scarlet Aeonia is a technique often used by Malenia, the Goddess of Rot. Players who cast this spell creates a gigantic flower that blooms into an explosion of scarlet rot in the same way Malenia does. Players who have earned this spell, have automatically established themselves as a powerful foe who should not be trifled with.
