Fantasy anime such as Naruto Shippuden typically involves various forms of magic, supernatural elements and mystical creatures that you wouldn't typically see in other genres.The setting of these shows is more than not a distant or imaginary world, such as the Demon Plane in the great martial arts anime Yu Yu Hakushu. Modern favorites include Fairy Tale, Black Butler, and Akame ga Kill!, but we want to know what your top fantasy anime show is. Sword Art Online (2012) is a Japanese anime series based on the light novel series written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by abec.
