It's time to celebrate the awesome ladies of My Hero Academia. As is the case for most shonen anime, this series's male cast is far larger than its female one. Nevertheless, plenty of powerful, fascinating women and girls from MHA exist on the show.
Who are the best female characters in My Hero Academia? That depends on your personal preferences. If you like astoundingly creepy villains, Himiko Toga might be right up your alley. But if you prefer good-hearted, slightly nervous, and adorable heroes-in-training, you'll probably love Ochaco Uraraka. And if you want more adult female characters, your favorite might be the 18+ hero, Midnight.
Regardless of individual taste, all of these female characters are amazing.
Momo Yaoyorozu is a member of Class 1-A. She can use her fat cells to create any inanimate object as long as she understands its chemical composition - and she's intelligent and knowledgeable enough to make just about anything.
Kyoka Jirou is awesome because of her punk rock sensibilities and style, and because of her Quirk, which allows her not only to hear sounds from far away, but also to use sound waves offensively. Besides her hero duties, Jirou plays the bass.
Tsuyu Asui is one of the more pragmatic and down-to-earth members of Class 1-A, but she also knows how to have a good time. Her Quirk allows her to do anything a frog can do, from eating flies to regurgitating her digestive system and launching it at people as an offensive weapon.
Ochaco Uraraka is one of Izuku's best friends at U.A. High School. Her Quirk, Zero Gravity, allows her to make anything she touches float, and her positive, cheerful attitude makes her a joy to watch.
Possessing one of the most formidable Quirks in the My Hero Academia universe, Eri can rewind a person - turning an adult into a baby, reversing injuries, and more. Despite her incredible powers, she's just a little girl - which leaves her vulnerable to being used for her powers by nefarious villains, like Chisaki Kai.
The only female member of the Big 3, Nejire is one of the most accomplished students at U.A. High School. She's talkative and a bit air-headed, but she can get serious when it's important. Her Quirk, Wave Motion, lets her convert her energy into powerful blasts.
