        Movie: Little Women (2019)

In Greta Gerwig's acclaimed retelling of the classic American novel, Pugh plays the youngest of the March sisters, Amy. While Amy is often thought of by readers/audiences to be the least likeable of the family, Pugh's performance and interpretation of Gerwig's screenplay made Amy into a more nuanced character than previously seen on screen. Which is evidenced by the Oscar nod she recieved her performance in this film.
