The Marvel Universe has tons of Mutants running around, but not every Mutant can be a Wolverine or Cyclops. There are hundreds of no-name characters who never achieved much greatness. Gambit, otherwise known as Remy LeBeau, is not one of these characters. He quickly became a fan-favorite, and thanks to several decades of publications, there are tons of Gambit's storylines, story arcs, and adventures making up a library of impressive comic book stories, issues, and graphic novels.

Story Found In: X-Men #24
Many fans recognize the beautiful cover art by Andy Kubert with this classic shot of Gambit and Rogue embracing, and the story within doesn't disappoint! This book details the pair's first true and proper date, which includes a horsedrawn carriage and all the bells and whistles.
This was one of those great books that truly helped to establish the character's relationship as it was developing, and the writing by Fabien Nicieza was spot-on for them. Also in the issue, Jubilee is dealing with the death of Ilyana, and it makes for a somber tale, which is contrasted by the lovely date shared by Gambit and Rogue.191Is this a great storyline?
Story Found In: Gambit (2012) #1 & 2
Gambit may be a superhero and part-time member of teams like the X-Men, but at his core, he's an exceptionally talented thief. That's his background, and that's how many people know him, which is why the story that unfolds in the pages of his latest solo series are great for getting back to his roots.
"Once A Thief" depicts Gambit as he truly is: a master criminal who uses his skills as a thief to get into some insane adventures. The pages play out like an adventure more akin to Indiana Jones or Lara Croft, which works perfectly for everyone's favorite Mutant thief.194Is this a great storyline?
Story Found In: Gambit (1993) #2
Gambit's first solo miniseries continues with the story, "Honor Amongst Thieves," which features a return of our hero to the streets of New Orleans. He returns to find the wife he thought dead in a coma. With Rogue's help, Gambit takes Bella Donna to the Thieves Guild to try and get her through a tithing ceremony, but it is interrupted.
This leads to Gambit making a move to get the Elixir of Life so that he might save Bella Donna's life, but a group of assassins have other plans. This is another story that helps reveal some of Gambit's secret past to Rogue (and the reader) as more about the Cajun is told.182Is this a great storyline?
Story Found In: Gambit (1999) #1
Gambit may be an X-Man, but that doesn't mean he went his whole life without picking up some enemies unique to him. In the pages of his first ongoing series from 1999, Gambit gets paired against the X-Cutioner, a former member of the FBI who hunts down Mutants using an arsenal of alien technology and weapons.
The stories in the series play out like a game of cat and mouse, which works perfectly for the likes of Gambit. In the story "The Man of Steal," his antics come into play as he is hunted by his nemesis in what promises to be a grand series of adventures.171Is this a great storyline?
