Shanee is a 1989 Pakistani film starring Babra Sharif, Sheri Malik, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Asif Khan, Saeed Rizvi and Mohammad Ali and directed by Saeed Rizvi. The film was known for its special effects which were first used in Pakistan. The film won four Nigar Awards in 1989. Jeeva is an Urdu film directed by Syed Noor. It introduced Babar Ali and Resham into Lollywood and turned them into stars. The film was also acclaimed at the foreign festivals where it was screened. The shrine of Hazrat Ayub Ansari in Istanbul in Turkey was pictured in this film.
