Every year, the Hollywood Foreign Press recognizes the best of the best in movies and television at the Golden Globe Awards Show. This list of the best Golden Globe winning comedy series has been ranked from best to worst by film and TV fans like you. Featuring all TV shows that have won the Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical award, this list includes classic TV shows, great current comedies, and many of the best TV series of all time.

The Golden Globes have been held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA since 1961, though the very first Golden Globe awards were presented back in 1944. The Globes are unique, in that they honor not just accomplishments in film or television, but both. The awards show broadcast brings together movie stars and TV actors, all on one night.

The show has featured memorable hosts like Ricky Gervais and Tina Fey, both of whom have shows that won for Best Comedy and are listed here, along with many other classic sitcoms and hilarious comedy series.
