Edward Gottlieb was the first head coach of the Warriors. In their first season Gottlieb's Warriors won the Basketball Association of America Finals. The first time the Warriors would win a championship in the NBA was under George Senesky. Senesky's Warriors would win it all in 1956. In the 2010s and beyond, Steve Kerr created a dynasty which won four championships in eight years.
