Vote up the hobbits who'd be a great addition to your own personal fellowship.
Hobbits are curious creatures. They spend most of their time sleeping, eating, and enjoying the simpler comforts. It's not often that a hobbit gets into mischief, but it's been known to happen from time to time. Every once in a while, a stranger will arrive in the Shire looking for a companion on some great adventure. Most hobbits would shut the door in their face, but some are more adventurous than they may first appear.
It goes without saying that some hobbits are much handier than others. Not content just to sit at home tucking into multiple breakfasts, these handy hobbits jump at the chance to help an ally on a quest. Some are perfect helpers, cooking and cleaning to their heart's content. Others are proven warriors, able to slay any foe who is foolish enough to underestimate them. The best of them possess an unshakeable loyalty. These are the hobbits that you would want at your side when darkness threatens the world.

Who is he? Frodo's cousin, and a member of the Fellowship of the Ring.
What does he want? Merry joins the Fellowship to help Frodo carry the One Ring to Mordor.
Highlights? He rallies the Ents to take on Saruman in Isengard. At the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, he pierces the leg of the Witch-King of Angmar, giving Eowyn the chance to land the final blow.
Low-lights? He can be pretty harsh to Pippin sometimes.
