In The House With A Clock In Its Walls, Lewis Barnavelt (Owen Vaccaro) is a young orphan sent to live with his uncle Jonathan Barnavelt (Jack Black.) Lewis soon discovers that his uncle is a warlock and begs to be one as well. Lewis is introduced to Florence Zimmerman (Cate Blanchett), Jonathans neighbor,  who is a far more skilled witch. The clock behind the walls is found out to belong to a sinister magical couple that were intending to use the clock to end the world.
