The best Houston Texans kickers ever have all had a part in some of the biggest moments in the franchise's short history. NFL games can be won and lost by one or two points, making every made or missed kick of the greatest importance and every starting kicker a potential hero.

Just six players have ever held the job of placekicker for the Texans, a franchise whose past dates back only to 2002. Kris Brown was the first kicker and remains the longest tenured kicker, going back to the old days of the team. Meanwhile, Neil Rackers was an NFL legend who passed through the team's doors for a couple years as well.
