When it comes to funny Indian comedians, Aziz Ansari has to be near the top. Raised in South Carolina and his parents were from Tamil Nadu, India. Ansari explores the experience of being a child of immigrants in his Netflix series, Master of None. Russell Peters is another hilarious stand-up comedian with Indian roots. The Office writer/star Mindy Kaling's parents emigrated to the United States from India the year before she was born.
